About me

I have been in the popcorn texture business for years. I started spraying ceilings in the early 80's. Slick ceilings were not that popular back then. So I know first hand on the underlying condition of popcorn texture. All ceilings sprayed only had two coats of joint compound not three, and the angle tape on the ceiling side was never floated. That is why you need Faircloth Drywall to put the final skim coat, float the top angle in the corners, skim over all screws and sand with dustless sander. Bring your ceiling to perfection. Keep in mind; when the popcorn texture is removed all continuity area's will be repaired. Drywall finishing is the final product, if not done properly every ceiling joint will shine through the primer and paint.

My name is Mike Faircloth. I started popcorn texture work and drywall with my father in 1979.It's been a family business that I carry on today. I moved to North Carolina in 1985 bringing my experience to the Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex area. I personally do my own work with my son Mike jr. The core value of my business is the customer. Giving them 100% satisfaction with a guarantee for two years. We stay up to date on all drywall and texture material by attending monthly usg and goldbond seminars. Safty is also a top priority. We protect ourselves when ceiling texture comes back positive for asbestos. I have been married 28 years to Laura Faircloth with four kids one grandbaby. I enjoy family time, going to church on Sunday, playing baseball with the Alamance 45+ Giants baseball team, love the outdoors fishing, hunting and going to the gym.
